Cloud Break is a long flat reef made up of big "square blocks" with a ledge that runs out to sea. There are some big Knotted Fan Corals, Spiral Corals, and Giant Fan Corals, that dot the reef. You can see a variety of starfish from the Nail Sea Star to the Long-arm Feather Star. The reef has similar fish life as does the shallower reef's with sights such as the inquisitive Bluestreak Cleaner Wrasse, the graceful Clown Trigger Fish, the shoaling Powder-blue Surgeonfish and the Old Woman that love to play in the streams of bubbles.
Like the Pinnacles, this reef also attracts game fish and sharks. Because the reef of Cloud Break runs in a similar depth as the Pinnacles, the currents are sometimes unpredictable. This deep reef is best dived during summer or on a South to North current, making it accessible throughout the year for the more adventurous among us.
