At a depth of between 9 and 26m, the Guinjata Local Reefs are located approximately 1km from the launch site and has 6 dive sites providing a variety of diving options.
This reef is approximately 1,5 km from the launch site and offers a variety of dive sites. The outer ledge of the reef drops to 21 meters while other areas of the reef come up to 9 meters. There are three-dive site on the reef, which have names like “the Cave” (small amphitheatre 9m – 14m), “Pao Ledge” (bread loaf like ledge 13m – 21m), “Batfish Pinnacle” (plenty of batfish 9m –14m). One area in particular is covered with sea anemones; other areas are full of brightly coloured nudibranchs and sea cucumbers. The outer ledge regularly produces sightings of game fish and larger rays resting in the sand.
